Answers...To Go! is replacing "Reference on Call" on July 1, 2003. This service, provided at no charge to residents in the 54 towns served by NMRLS, the Northeast Massachusetts Regional Library System, is designed to serve the library needs of home users via the Web.
Due to state budget reductions, we need to eliminate the after hours "on Call" services. Hence the name change. We hope that the chat-based 24/7 reference service, the public library directory to facilitate call-in service to your local library, along with electronic resources provided here will meet most of your reference needs. Due to license agreements we are unable to provide electronic database services outside our service area.
We do not require personal information about our clients, however, 24/7 clients may be asked to provide some information as part of the reference process. Reference services are provided by Lawrence Law Library and Memorial Hall Library (Andover).
Answers...To Go! is designed only to supplement local library services. We encourage you to visit and support your local library when this site does not meet all of your library needs.
