About Us

Would you like to Search an Online Catalog, Borrow Materials, and Manage Your Library Account via the Web?

Your library card number allows you to do all of this and more!

  • Merrimack Valley Library Consortium (MVLC) Library Catalog
MVLC's new catalog (iPac 2.03) allows MVLC card holders to search for materials, request popular items, and renew books, as well as other useful features. This new catalog has been updated with improved searching features, as well as 'enhanced content' such as book reviews, and book covers, for selected material.

  • North of Boston Library Exchange (NOBLE) Web Catalog
Search the holdings of 26 public and college libraries. If you are a registered borrower with a Personal Identification Number (PIN) you can also request library materials, renew items, list your checkouts, see the status of your requests and view other important information by logging in. Visit your NOBLE member library for a library card and PIN.

Other Massachusetts' Resources

  • MassCat
Five of the Massachusetts Regional Library Systems (Central, Metrowest, Northeast, Southeastern, and Western) have formed MassCat, a single catalog of the holdings of their member libraries that are not affiliated with one of the existing automated networks.

  • Massachusetts Trial Court Law Libraries - Library Catalog
The Massachusetts Trial Court Law Libraries are seventeen state-funded public law libraries located across the state, committed to public service.

  • The Virtual Catalog
The Virtual Catalog allows you to find books and other materials in multiple library catalogs with a single search. Library catalogs will continue to be added to the Virtual Catalog over the next two to three years until we have the majority of the online catalogs in Massachusetts included.

  • Massachusetts Library Catalogs
Books and other materials held by most public libraries and by approximately 30 academic libraries can be found in the online catalogs of the nine large automated resource sharing networks throughout the state.

This service is provided to the residents of northeast Massachusetts by the Northeast Massachusetts Regional Library System through state funding administered by the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners
