Description: Teddy Roosevelt, then president of the United States,
visited a number of commuities in New England during August of
1902. He arrived at the train station on the west side of
Broadway. He addressed the crowd on a platform set up for the
event. The whole visit lasted only about 15 minutes. He left
waving to the citizens from the train.
