New Regional ILL policies effective November 1st, 2006.
Shipping fees for Libraries removed!

The NMRLS Executive Board approved a change to regional ILL Policies as per recommendation of the ILL Centers at Memorial Hall and NOBLE.  Fees for return shipping have been removed to eliminate this as a barrier to resource sharing. If a borrowing library uses the ILL Centers to return items, the ILL Centers will pay any shipping charges to return those items.  The borrowing library will not be billed for return shipping if they use an ILL Center.

All other limits will remain in effect until further notice as described in the ILL FAQs:

NMRLS recognizes that no individual library has the resources available to meet all user needs. Thus interlibrary loan is an essential service. ILL supplements and expands local collections and removes many geographic and economic barriers for patrons. NMRLS encourages borrowing and lending between libraries of all types in the Region. (NMRLS ILL Best Practices, approved by the NMRLS Executive Committee, February 19, 2004)
