The March Delivery Survey has been completed, and our initial review indicates about an 8% increase in the number of items going through delivery. We conduct these surveys twice yearly, to continue to monitor the volume and efficiency of the routes.

Our current contract with our delivery service provider ends on June 30, 2003. NMRLS is seeking proposals for Delivery Service in a joint RFP (Request for Proposals) with the Southeast and MetroWest Regional Library Systems. As you may know, NMRLS is moving toward using more electronic communications. The Delivery site has the NMRLS Delivery Schedule, and a link to the Massachusetts Statewide Delivery Routing Directory; you can download Delivery Slips in MS Word format; you can find other information regarding schedule changes, handling claims and searching for lost items, etc.
