The Reference Committee met on Wednesday, March 2, at NMRLS. Recent database survey results were reviewed along with pricing and budget issues. No definitive decisions were made but next steps included offering an encyclopedia survey (Grolier and Worldbook), having Spanish speaking reference librarians look at Spanish databases and make a recommendation, and that at the next meeting, the Committee would discuss what options they had and what decision could be made in FY06 to make FY07 a better and more stable year. The next scheduled meeting is on Monday, May 2, at 2:00 at the Lawrence Trial Library.

The Supplemental Deposit Collection Committee met on Monday, March 21, at NMRLS. Budget and circulation updates were reviewed. Merrimac Public Library has incorporated the Supplemental Deposit Collection smoothly into their library. The next scheduled meeting is on Tuesday, May 24, at 10:00. Following the Committee meeting, an Open House will be held from 11:00 to 12:00. Both events are at Merrimac Public Library.
