E-Vanced Solutions - How to participate
If you have not filled out this form to participate, we are encouraging you to fill out the form at http://www.nmrls.org/surveys/evanced.htm This program is available to all public libraries! We are debuting it this summer but all public libraries are eligible to participate in this program. Please share this news with your adult services librarians and teen librarians! The contract is for 3 years, not just 3 summers!
With grant funding provided by the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners, the Massachusetts Regional Library Systems have licensed software from E-vanced Solutions to provide their "Summer Reader" software to every public library in the state for the next three years!
This means that if you decide to use the online program, you and your patrons can do Summer Reading Program registration, tracking of their reading via an online reading log, and manage prizes very easily. Reporting your statistics will be a breeze! Plus, if you choose, your patrons can submit book reviews to you to consider for display in the system!
The software will be available year-round, so you can use it anytime - for winter reading programs, Massachusetts Children's Book Award programs, Adult Reading programs - the sky's the limit!
There will be workshops on how to use the software in May. I will announce when the classes are open.
Please let me know if you have any questions and I hope to see you all participating!
