The National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) will award up to $6,000 for Preservation Assistance Grants. These are geared toward small institutions. Last year 50% of proposals were funded. Don't miss this opportunity!

For Schools and School-Community Collaborations
The National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) is committed to providing leadership in arts education by inspiring all young Americans through rich arts experiences. The Learning in the Arts for Children and Youth grant category offers funding for projects that help children and youth acquire knowledge and understanding and skills in the arts.
Projects must provide participatory learning and engage students with skilled artists, teachers, and excellent art. The deadline is June 9.

For Public Libraries
The American Library Association and the Fetzer Institute, as part of its Campaign for Love & Forgiveness <http://www.loveandforgive.org/> , present "Let's Talk About It: Love & Forgiveness," a scholar-led reading and discussion program for libraries interested in exploring themes of love and forgiveness in everyday life through classic and contemporary literature. The deadline is July 15, 2008.
