Congratulations to Donna Beales, MILS, Lowell General Hospital, Health Science Library on the acceptance for oral presentation of her paper "Helminths in the Treatment of Hereditary Angioedema: A Theoretical Model in Support of a Novel Therapeutic Option" by the 2008 International Conference on Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Genomics and Chemoinformatics (BCBGC-08) to be held in Orlando, FL, USA during July 7-10 2008.

Dottie LaFrance announced her retirement after 32 years in the library field and 30 years as Head Librarian at the Newburyport Public Library. Her last week of actual work will occur in early December with the official departure date being in mid-January, 2009. Until then, she looks forward to continuing to work with all her colleagues and friends!.
