The Supplemental Deposit Collection Committee met on January 6 at Memorial Hall Library in Andover. Members of the Committee introduced themselves to Gail Pickering, the MHL staff member responsible for managing the Collection for the rest of this fiscal year. Budget and circulation figures were reported. The Committee heard that the RFP had received one response from Merrimac Public Library. Reaction was enthusiastic and positive. They agreed to award the contract to Merrimac. Details of the transition period will be worked out between NMRLS and Merrimac in the coming months.
