If you'd like to know what your Reference Center is up to, check out the Winter 2005 issue of the NMRLS Regional Reference Newsletter . The newsletter will be published three times a year.  

City Profiles USA, seventh edition, highlights 249 major cities in United States and Canada. In addition to the average temperature, attractions, and events, a list of the newspapers, magazines, and radio and television stations is included.

A Consumer's Dictionary of Food Additives describes 12,000 ingredients that are added to foods.

The Dictionary of American Family Names explains the history and origin of 70,000 family names in the United States.

Handbook of Business Information: A Guide for Librarians, Students, and Researchers by Rita W. Moss provides detailed annotated descriptions of paper and online business resources. Explanations of key business terms enhance the users' understanding of the resources.

www.mass.gov/consumer This page on the Massachusetts government web site provides links to valuable consumer information such as lemon laws, tips for buying a home, and a database of licensed professionals.
