Interlibrary Loan:

The Interlibrary Loan Committee is pleased to announce a new chairperson! Marnie Oakes (Director, Rueben Hoar Library, Littleton) has accepted the position of Committee Chair and will be chairing her first meeting on July 16th. After graciously serving as Chair for over three years, Doug Rendell (Director, Peabody Institute Library, Danvers), decided to step down. Doug intends to continue working on the Committee during the transition.

The ILL Committee is looking for new members to join its ranks, especially members from school and special libraries. If you are interested in joining the Committee, or have any questions about the Committee, please contact Scott Kehoe at NMRLS scott@nmrls.org.

SPECIAL LIBRARIES MEETING: HOLD THE DATE!

The NMRLS Special Libraries meeting will be held on August 5, from 10:00 to noon, at the Topsfield Historical Society, 1 Howlett Street (just off the Town Green, across from the Town Hall) in the center of Topsfield. The town center is on Route 97, between routes 1 and 95. Included will be a tour of the 1683 Parson Capen House. To register, email mary@nmrls.org.
