InfoTrac Database Usage Statistics for Remote AccessSome members have been confused by the fact that Infotrac statistics, received monthly via e-mail from the Gale Group, always say "0" for remote use by library patrons.
Because authentication for remote access takes place on the MBLC server, statistics for remote access are a recorded there as well. Therefore, Gale (and other database vendors), do not provide remote access statistics for individual libraries.
NMRLS posts remote access stats for all the databases, including Infotrac, on our website: www.nmrls.org/reference/stats/index.shtml the first week of every month. Activity is listed by month, by library, by database.
