The Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners and the six Massachusetts Regional Library Systems planned and hosted a three-day Library Leadership Institute from June 12 - June 15, 2005 at Endicott College, Beverly.

The Institute included nearly fifty individuals from all types of libraries, including librarians who have a limited number of years in their fields.

Schreiber Shannon Associates structured the Institute and presented the leadership content that included: Self Awareness, Customer Focus, Future Orientation, Embracing Change, Empowerment of Self and Others, and Bias for Action.
