Although the majority of the quotations in Bartlett's Familiar Quotations are still from traditional sources, like the Bible and Shakespeare, the scope of the seventeenth edition has been widened to include quotations from contemporary sources in television, movies, politics, and music. There are quotations from Jerry Seinfeld, Woody Allen, George W. Bush and Elvis Presley.

In addition to three practice tests with answers, The Best Test Preparation for the MTEL: Massachusetts Tests for Education Licensure - Communication and Literacy Skills Test, contains review exercises and contact information for test sites.

The Financial Times World Desk Reference contains basic information on countries including demographic information; facts and figures for tourism, crime statistics, climatic data, and a profile of political parties.

GPO Access
Try http://www.gpoaccess.gov for information from all branches of the government. Congressional bills, the Congressional Record, presidential speeches, Supreme Court cases, and the Federal Register can all be accessed.
