Brown Bag Wrap Ups:

We hope that you were on hand for one of our two May Brown Bag Discussions. "How Are We Doing?" (May 10) looked at ways to evaluate your present services, seek input from your stakeholders, and plan for the future. "Running Effective Meetings" (May 24) surveyed the meeting process and answered the question "Why meet?" Thank you to Director Julie Bernier, Rowley Free Public Library, for providing a meeting place and tour of her new facility that day.

Tour & Lunch at the Essex Agricultural Institute, Danvers June 17, 2004 - 10:00 AM to 01:00 PM - Essex Agricultural Institute, Danvers Essex Agricultural and Technical High School is an independent, state funded, day school serving grades 9 through 12 in Danvers, Massachusetts. Founded in 1913, "Essex Aggie" serves all of Massachusetts, with transportation provided to students within a 20 mile radius of the school. The school is fully accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges. Various techniques will be explored and demonstrated. There will be in-class exercises and a short video to demonstrate these helpful techniques for reference interactions. Presented by Eleanor Sathan and Glenda Schaake, Reference Librarians at Memorial Hall Library, Andover. Space is limited!
