The Massachusetts Library Association held a very well attended Legislative Breakfast for NE Massachusetts on March 28th at the Nevins Memorial Library in Methuen. The number of attendees--librarians, trustees, and friends, exceeded 150 including many legislators and aides. The room was abuzz with discussions about the new budget proposed by the Governor earlier in the week in which the MBLC was not funded and its programs listed as part of the Executive Office of Education.
