Essex National Heritage Partnership Grants
The Essex National Heritage Area supports projects that identify, promote, and preserve the historical, cultural, and natural resources of Essex County. Projects that develop partnerships among organizations and build sustainable community programs in the region are encouraged. The application deadline for 2004 is April 2nd. Lifelong Access Institute
May 19th and September 30th
The dates and location for the Lifelong Access Institute, presented for NMRLS by Libraries for the Future are set for Wednesday, May 19th, and Thursday, September 30th, from 9:00 - 12:30. These sessions will be held at the NMRLS office in Danvers. Participants must attend both sessions.
The Lifelong Access Institute is part of NMRLS' LSTA grant, The Library Experience: Older Citizens. Program planners and outreach staff members who are interested in innovative ways to address the needs of their older, active adult library users should plan to attend. Registration will be limited to 18. Applications are due April 7.
