It's Tax Time!
Don't know your FICA from your IRA? Converting monthly figures to weekly amounts…divide by 4.3 or 4.25? Need information on TEFRA, COBRA, or even (ugh!) EGTRRA? Or maybe you just need to locate a tax form. We can help. The Lawrence, Lowell and Essex Law Libraries have print and electronic resources available to help you get through this most taxing of seasons.
Our print collection includes such titles as RIA Federal Tax Coordinator 2d (a multi-volume treatise, updated weekly, containing in-depth analysis of Federal Taxation), Bender's 2005 Tax Return Manual (including filled-in form samples), and even "self-help" titles such as The IRS Problem Solver and Stand Up to the IRS. To find all of our taxation related print holdings, visit www.lawlib.state.ma.us/ and choose "Card Catalog".
For electronic resources, visit www.lawlib.state.ma.us/tax.html for links to online sources of State and Federal tax information. Or visit the Lawrence Law Library and take a look at the CCH Tax Research Network.
