The Massachusetts House Ways and Means Committee released its FY04 state budget recommendations on Tuesday, April 23, 2003. The House Ways and Means budget recommends level funding for the Regional Library Systems and Library of Last Recourse and that the Massachusetts Board of library Commissioners retain its current independent status as a state agency at a reduced level of funding from FY'03.
