A Celebration of MSLMA Leadership: Announcing 2005 Election Results

I am very proud to announce the results of our 2005 Election. They will be serving on the Executive Board of MSLMA from June 2005 to May of 2007. Please join with me in congratulating:

For the next two years, MSLMA will be following the terrific leadership of Kathy Lowe as president. In the next few weeks, she will be naming the chair people of the executive board committees for 2005-06. These chair people will be looking for YOU to join them in on variety of projects, task forces and special events. I hope that when the chance comes to SHOUT and join in the game you will accept the challenge. I am savoring this last month as president of MSLMA, but I am certainly not exiting -- you will be hearing my SHOUTs for a long time. I will be serving in the next year as the past president and continuing on as the MSLMA webmaster. I will also be helping out with the conference, legislation, and school library month.

I am grateful to you, the members, who have responded to the challenge of strengthening our profession by making MSLMA stronger. Ultimately, it's our students who are the winners.
