MARLS Purchasing
Cooperative Update

We are pleased to announce that almost all the vendors for the FY08 MARLS Cooperative for Library Materials and Supplies are extending their bids through FY09.

The only vendors that could not renew their contracts were Shopper, Inc. (also known as Video Shopper), whose primary offering was cases for different media, and Archival Products. These vendors will not be participating as of July 1, 2008. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause, and we hope to include the items they offered when the next Cooperative is bid. An update to the FY09 Supply List, deleting the specific items being dropped, will be available on our web site <http://www.wmrls.org/coop/index.html> for July 2008.

Current members of the FY08 Coop will automatically be eligible for the FY09 Coop. No signatures or forms are needed to continue in this program.

Regional members that were not part of the FY08 MARLS Coop and would now like to join must fill out the pledge/participation forms available from their local Regional Library System.
