The Special Libraries met on Tuesday, November 4, at Osram Sylvania, Beverly. Present were NMRLS members representing corporate, museum, and historical society libraries, along with representation from the Essex National Heritage Area. After news of library happenings, we toured the Research and Development Library. Thank you to David Jelley who arranged this for the Specials group. The Reference Committee met on Wednesday, November 5, at NMRLS in Danvers. Agenda items included a discussion of publicizing "Answers To Go", a review of the latest database survey results followed by a decision to send the survey out again to members, and a discussion of how to reach the best decision for all members for cutting a database in the next fiscal year. The next meeting is Wednesday, January 28, 2:00-4:00, place TBA.
