NMRLS is pleased to host three different training sessions addressing issues of diversity in the library. This program is part of NMRLS LSTA Open Grant - Serving Spanish-Speaking Patrons in Northeast Massachusetts. While the grant is targeted at larger Spanish-speaking communities, this library diversity training will be useful in all libraries that serve diverse populations.

Training will be conducted by Yolanda Cuesta, a nationally-known expert in diversity training. All sessions will be held at the NMRLS office in Danvers beginning at 9:30 AM ending at 4:30 PM.

We invite all members to register. However, we will give preference to staff from nine public libraries that were specified in our grant application.

If you have questions about this project, please contact me greg@nmrls.org.
