RFR for Statewide Electronic Resources Released
The Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners announced that the Request for Responses (RFR) 07-100, for Statewide Electronic Resources was posted on the Commonwealth's procurement Web site (www.comm-pass.com) by the Operational Services Division of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
This RFR is intended to elicit proposals from database providers for licensing Internet web-based access to one or more commercial electronic databases hosted by the bidder for all members of the six multitype Massachusetts Regional Library Systems for a period of up to five years, beginning on July 1, 2007. Publishers of databases, value-added resellers or third party vendors representing periodical, encyclopedia, directory, reference, book, newspaper, newsletter and multimedia databases are all welcome to submit proposals based on the scope as described in the RFR.
