Getting Your Grant: An Introduction to Proposal Writing for Historical Records

Archives Alive! workshops are designed for professional and volunteer staff of local repositories, public libraries, town halls, historical museums, commissions, societies and sites. Workshop leader Shelley Quezada will introduce attendees to fundamental grant-related topics such as basic proposal writing, researching potential funding sources, and using the Internet as a research tool. Ms. Quezada is a program consultant for Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners, where she is responsible for monitoring, writing, and implementing grant proposals for federal and state agencies and local foundations.
