Strategic Planning at NMRLS Annual Meeting
November 16, 2005 | Nevins Memorial Library, Methuen | 11:30 AM - 3:30 PM
By Greg Pronevitz
We will need your help on November 16th! Our thought-provoking facilitator, Alan Brickman, will lead attendees through an important exercise to bring clear direction in meeting NMRLS' objectives. These objectives are critical in allowing NMRLS to provide the services you need to serve your patrons.
You'll have an opportunity to network with colleagues over lunch before the planning exercise. Members will then work together in smaller groups in their areas of interest.
NMRLS' Strategic Plan sets out nine goals in the areas listed below. Action is needed to complete 33 specific objectives to attain these goals. Please take a look at the Plan and bring your ideas and priorities! We need input from all types and sizes of libraries to attain our vision.
- Reference Services
- Continuing Education
- Inter-library Collaboration
- Marketing and Public Awareness
- Delivery Services
