Regular Continuing Education workshops may be "out for the summer" but not forever! NMRLS is offering two types of workshops this summer:

  1. Online through WebJunction or
  2. At your library!

NMRLS On-site Summer Workshops!
NMRLS offers a variety of workshops on-site, at your Library, at your convenience!

A sample of offerings:

-Creating blogs and wikis.
-Customer Service Workshop.
-Database Training: InfoTrac, WorldCat, etc.
-Gadgets & Gizmos: iPods, MP3s, USB "flash" drives, DVDs.
-Introduction to Microsoft Vista!
-Online Gaming: It's not just for kids!
-Library 2.0: social networking & innovations.
-Really Basic Scanning.

WebJunction Online Workshops!

No Fee for NMRLS members!

These distance education workshops work with the Microsoft Internet Explorer browser and require no additional software! All the workshops are self-paced and have a one-year time-limit for completion. WebJunction provides an extensive list of online workshops that cover both technology and advocacy issues.
