SIRS Discoverer - One-Year License

ProQuest recently acquired SIRS products and has offered a one-year license of SIRS Discoverer to NMRLS at no cost. While we have had to reduce our database offerings due to budget restraints, this offer provides us with an opportunity to provide an additional service for younger patrons. However, unless there are increases in budgets for next year, it is unlikely that we will renew this license next year. If this is a problem for your library, there is no need to provide links to the service.

NMRLS will provide links to SIRS Discoverer at our web site in the Reference and Answers to Go areas when access has been set-up. We will be contacting members who need passwords for authentication to provide this information. Watch our electronic discussion list and Web site for updates.

New Cookie for Infotrac - Effective August 16th

The password for Infotrac has changed. NMRLS sent out a letter by U.S. Mail to those libraries that access Infotrac databases with Password/cookie authentication, explaining how to change the password. This took effect August 16th.
