Downloadable Audiobooks Demonstration and Discussion
September 30, 2005 at Reading Public Library - 9:30 AM - 4:00 PM
Members and staff of MVLC, NOBLE, and NMRLS met in July to discuss options for a joint project to provide access to downloadable audiobooks. We have scheduled a meeting and invited representatives of three vendors as well as users of these three services. After the presentations, we invite you to join us for a planning meeting to determine the next steps toward implementation of a group purchase to bring this service to patrons of MVLC, NOBLE, and NMRLS member libraries.
We have invited representatives of Audible.com, Overdrive - Digital Library Reserve, and Recorded Books/NetLibrary to demonstrate downloadable audiobook services and answer your questions.
