Trial Court Law Library Patrons Access Borrowing Records, Request and Renew Materials via Internet
The next phase of technological improvement of the Massachusetts Trial Court Law Libraries' automated circulation system has been launched. Law Library patrons with bar-coded circulation cards may now access their patron records via the Internet, place holds on material, and renew material already charged out on their card! Library Lawline Ended July 31, 2005 --- Trial Court Law Libraries to Offer Alternative "LIVE CHAT" Reference Service
The Library Lawline live chat reference service, initiated two years ago by the New England Law Library Consortium (NELLCO) ceased operation on July 31, 2005. However, the Massachusetts Trial Court Law Libraries unveiled its own live chat reference service on August 1, 2005, which includes the use of "Live Assistance" software, as well as direct Instant Messaging for those patrons with AIM, Yahoo or MSN screen names. Check the website www.lawlib.state.ma.us/ask.htm for this new and exciting service.
Lawrence Law Library Continues to Offer Extended Hours
The Lawrence Law Library is open to the public as follows:
Monday through Thursday: 8:30AM to 8:00PM
Friday: 8:30AM to 4:30PM
Saturday: 10:00AM to 3:00PM
