MBLC & MFOL Present Friends Sharing with Friends 2007

On Saturday, September 29, 2007, a workshop for Library Friends will be held at the 'Springhill Suites by Marriot' at Devens Common Center, 31 Andrews Parkway, Devens. Continental Breakfast will be available at 9:30a.m. Programs will begin at 10:00a.m. A light Lunch will be served.

This year's conference features:

"Creative Fundraising; Thinking Outside the Box" - A program which highlights imaginative fundraising techniques used successfully by the Friends of the Wareham Free Library. Presented by Susan Pizzolato, Wareham Free Library.

"The Friends Potpourri", a panel presentation featuring events such as; the "Harry Potter Night" at the Canton Public Library; a Silent Auction and other fundraising events sponsored by the Friends of the Boxford Town Library; and how the Friends of the J.V. Fletcher Library in Westford plan and schedule their activities for the entire year.

There will be ample opportunity for conference attendees to make new friends, share experiences, and exchange ideas during the panel discussions and at the conference luncheon.

Everyone is invited to attend including Friends, Trustees, and Library Staff. Admission is free, however registration is required.
