Strategic Planning Drafts for Member Comment

The NMRLS Strategic Planning Committee began meeting in October 2004.  The Committee is pleased to announce that a draft version of NMRLS Strategic Plan 2005-2010 and the Environmental Scan 2005 are available for member comment and review.  Please visit: http://www.nmrls.org/strategicplan2005/

We need your help to finalize the plan in such a way as to focus on the needs of the entire 330-library NMRLS membership.  Please take some time to read the plan and provide input to the Committee by completing our online comment form.

The Open Meeting to discuss the draft Strategic Plan will include a brief presentation on how the Plan was developed and on its major points.  We will reserve the bulk of our time to hear your perspective on the plan and how it addresses the needs of NMRLS' member libraries. Meeting postponed due to low registration.

We also need your help in implementing the Plan.  A number of ambitious short-term objectives are included.  In order for NMRLS to provide quality services, member input and participation is required to keep us on target.  Click to join us in helping NMRLS achieve its vision!
