Accessing the Collection

You may request or return materials to the Supplementary Deposit Collection at any time. Please note, if you are sending material, make sure and check to out to ERA not Merrimac. The only time the name Merrimac Library should appear is on the routing slip. Currently, Merrimac is #35 on the Routing Slip.

There are many LP, Mysteries, J NF and JF books waiting to travel.

If you have any damaged items (Cassette or CD) please return to the Supplementary Collection. These items will be replaced or weeded.

Grant Funds Program

This program is administered through NMRLS.

Grant awards are $600.00 per library, depending upon the fiscal year budget. Grant announcement is made in January with grant awards being made in February - March.

The guidelines are the following:

1. All materials purchased with these funds will be made available for interlibrary loan.
2. You will apply labels with the wording "Purchased with NMRLS funds" to the materials.
3. You will flag the appropriate bibliographic field with a notation that the material was purchased with NMRLS funds.
4. You will submit a report of purchased items to NMRLS when the grant purchasing is complete by the end of the fiscal year (Author, title, publication date, and price)
