About the SPRING 2003 IDYLS WORKSHOPS by the Youth Services Consultants, Massachusetts Regional Library Systems
The Massachusetts Regional Library Systems, working with librarian graduates of the recent YSLead Massachusetts Institute, are pleased to announce a series of six learning opportunities for staff serving young people to be offered in various locations during the winter and spring of 2003. Titled IDYLS (Introduction to Dynamic Youth Library Services) these programs address individual leadership skills and, taken together, offer training in advocacy for youth, program evaluation, collaboration, and creating a culture of leadership. Programs are free of charge to Regional member librarians. The programs are funded by the Massachusetts Regional Library Systems. YSLead Massachusetts is federally funded with LSTA funds through the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners and developed by the Massachusetts Regional Library Systems.
