Mentors

Recognizing that there are always new arrivals to the field of youth services librarianship, this page is offered to provide information about our "seasoned" librarians and their areas of expertise. Many of the individuals listed below attended one of two Youth Services Leadership Institutes (2002 and 2003). As a direct result of those Institutes these librarians have taken a leadership role in professional associations, networking, and advocacy. Others are serving on the Youth Services Committee. We hope folks new to the profession or new to a position will visit this page and contact a mentor for help.

If you would like to be included on the Youth Services Mentor web page, please contact Susan Babb. YSLead background not required!
